Film Festival Line-up
- The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert
- The Lion King
- Shawshank Redemption
- Grease -Sing-a-Long
- Amazing Grace – Aretha Franklin
- Searching for Sugarman
The most popular film was the Saturday night Grease Sing-a-Long. There was a great atmosphere with many film-lovers dressed in the iconic 50’s style. Many versions of Danny and Sandy, Rizzo, Frenchy, and the Pink Ladies could be seen across the theatre. A great effort was made by so many. The theatre hosted a warm-up session with prizes for the ‘best dressed.’

We all know the film’s storyline. While on vacation, Danny and Sandy meet and indulge in a passionate love affair. They part ways believing they will never see each other again but fate has other plans – Rydell High is the scene for all the classics.
Singing (good and bad!) could be heard across the theatre, with dancing and lots of laughter. A fun night all-round.

Here’s what some of our Grease competition winners thought of the evening:
