Our Electrical Apprentices were recently treated to a seminar on achieving excellence with Aaron Webb, Head of the Crusaders Academy.
The Crusaders’ philosophy is simple yet powerful: “You win the game off the field.” It means that success is not just about what happens during the game, but it’s about everything the team does before the opening whistle even blows.
This philosophy has been the cornerstone of the Crusaders’ success in Super Rugby for the past six years, during which they have dominated the competition.
Now, the Crusaders are sharing their secrets with coaches and businesses around the world. Thanks to our sponsorship with the club, all of our Electrical Apprentices had the opportunity to attend a seminar on ‘Developing A High Performance Culture’ with Aaron Webb, Head of the Crusaders Academy.
The importance of a winning culture is reflected on the Crusaders’ website:

Aaron generously shared his time to inspire and teach our Apprentices a winning culture mindset.
Aaron explored the traits of high-performance people. How they treat themselves, connect with others, demonstrate selfless behaviour, and are not afraid to fail. Top athletes and business leaders are ‘self-drivers’. They are always keen to learn and drive opportunities for themselves through relationships.
Taking ownership of yourself and having clear goals and standards to meet was a theme of the seminar. The session was interactive, sharing videos from players and inspiration for our future leaders.
